What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community-Supported Agriculture. It is a way to receive fresh, locally grown food each week, while supporting a local farmer throughout the growing season. Signing up for a CSA share is like signing up for a weekly subscription for fruits and vegetables! Your share is purchased at the beginning of the season and a box of fresh produce for you and your family is available each week to be picked up at our drop-off location.
2015 Season
Our CSA lasts for 19 weeks, with 18 weeks available for pick-up. This gives you one "skip week" if you are out of town or haven't finished all your vegetables from the week before. Deliveries will begin the week of June 22nd, and continue through the month October. Each week, your box of produce will consist of 7-12 varieties of whatever's ready for harvest from the gardens, weighing approximately 10-20 lbs. If there is a vegetable that you don't like or have an allergy to, there will be an extra share available at the pick-up location where you can exchange it for something else.
The cost for a share is $360 for the season ($20/week), and can be paid by check at the time of sign-up. There are a limited number of shares available, so sign up today! Simply stop by our booth at one of the farmer's markets or contact us via phone or email.
